Bruns gains OAC honor

Senior All-American Ryan Bruns  has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for men's basketball.

 

He paced the team with 26.5 points per game, 8.5 rebounds per contest, six blocked shots, and four steals last week in 61 minutes on the floor.

The senior center propelled the Polar Bears to two victories last week over area-rival Defiance on Nov. 12 and in-state foe Denison on Nov. 17.

Major interior remodeling set Dec. 3-21

New design, seating, painting and flooring on the way

McDonald’s in Ada will see a major interior remodeling starting on Monday, Dec. 3. The lobby will be closed for three weeks but the drive thru will remain open during the change. Target date for completion is Dec. 21.

A kiosk will be installed inside where customers may order and pay with a credit card for their purchase. Cash registers will remain for those who do not wish to use the kiosk.

Other interior changes include:

* new interior design
* new seating
* new painting
* new flooring

The exterior will remain the same, including the drive thru area and parking. The local restaurant will continue to have a patio.

Santa, the Grinch, live reindeer, live nativity

It's all part of Dec. 3 Ada chamber's "Merry on Main"

Santa will be there. So will the Grinch. There will also be live reindeer, a live nativity and choir and lots more.

Merry on Main launches Ada's holiday season celebration. The 6th annual event is from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 3, in downtown Ada. The event is sponsored by Ada Area Chamber of Commerce.
