Community Economic Development Center at ONU to present entrepreneur workshop on pricing products

The Community Economic Development Center (CEDC) at Ohio Northern University continues its entrepreneurship workshop series in the Dicke Forum on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

The workshop will be preceded by a networking event at 5:30 p.m. The workshop will follow the networking event and conclude at 7 p.m.

The topic of the workshop will be “Pricing Your Product” with Daniel Fox. This event is free and open to the public.

Fox is a licensed practicing attorney and a certified public accountant. He currently serves as an assistant professor of law and chair of the marketing/hospitality management department at the Dauch College of Business and Economics.

His past service includes serving as the director of the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and associate dean at Ashland University.

Prior to joining Ashland University, Fox provided accounting, finance and training consultation to the world’s largest oil company, Saudi Aramco, in Saudi Arabia.

He founded an electronics manufacturing company, Electronix Group Inc. (EGI), which assembled electronic circuit boards and counted Siemens Energy and Automation as its primary customer. Fox also worked for a startup avionics manufacturing company as its controller and legal counsel.

His additional experience includes working at the “Big Eight” accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand, where he practiced as a tax attorney.

He practiced business law with the law firm of Emens, Hurd, Kegler & Ritter in Columbus, Ohio. Over the years, he has counseled both large and small business firms, but his passion is for startup businesses.
