Here's what's happened this week in Hardin County, submitted by the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance.

Breakfast with Jessie the Yodelin’ Cowgirl
Join Jessie the Yodelin’ Cowgirl (Devon Dawson) for breakfast. Mom and Dad-bring the camera! Meet Jessie and get her autograph, enjoy crafts and Jessie will perform for a half hour on June 22 beginning at 9AM.  Pre Sale Tickets Only available at the Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance, Quest Federal Credit Union (all Hardin County locations), Hardin County Family YMCA and Jolene’s Cozy Café until June 17th! Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, applesauce, orange juice, milk and coffee catered by Jolene’s Cozy Café for $8.

Chicken BBQ Dinner
A Chicken BBQ Dinner will be held on June 22 from 5PM-7PM in the Arts & Crafts Building, Hardin County Fairgrounds. Menu includes: ½ grilled chicken, green beans, potato salad, roll with butter, applesauce & bottled water catered by Stretch & Donna’s BBQ + More. 20th Annual Gene Autry Days
Join nationally known western singers for the 20th Annual Gene Autry Days, June 22 & 23. Over 65 tables of antique toys, cap guns and Western Collectibles, featuring Kenton Cast Iron Toys, to browse or buy! Also enjoy Fast Draw Competition, White Rose Carriage Service (carriage rides on Fairgrounds Property), Black Swamp Driving Club Carriage Display, Hardin County Joy Riders Open Class Speed Show and Open Class Pleasure Show, Lasso Up Cancer 5K Run, Western Celebrity Look-A-Likes. Hours are Saturday 9AM-5PM and Sunday 10AM-3PM. Adults are $5 per day, children under 12 are FREE. Parking is Free.

Kenton Parks & Rec Activities
·         June 21 – Kids in grades K-5 are invited to make a sunshine magnet or paint a birdhouse sun catcher to take home at Wharton Park from 10AM-11:30AM.

Family Movie Night @ MLJ-Hardin County Library
Bring along your pillow & blanket & we'll provide the snack! "Escape from Planet Earth" (Rated PG) will begin showing at 7pm on June 21. For more information call Christina at 419.673.2278. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Celebrate Summer Solstice
Celebrate Summer Solstice at The Inn at Ohio Northern University.  Join us on June 21 at 8:30PM to enjoy a fine selection of wines, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and live music.  At dusk we will gather at the ONU Observatory to stargaze. *Stargazing may be affected by weather conditions.
To plan perfectly for your evening, The Inn requires reservations.  Please call 419.772.2500.  Reservations are $39.99 per person (plus tax and gratuity).

All MOPAR Car Show
On June 22, from 9AM to 1PM enjoy antique and classic Chrysler Products, antique tractors and airplanes, Cushman Scooters at Hardin Motors, 481 S. Main St., Mt. Victory. Free Registration for Car Show. Dash Plates, food available. Mt. Victory Antique shops will be open!

Fairy Garden Workshop
Create a charming home for the Fairies in your garden! 2 sessions at each store, Ada and Kenton, 10AM and 1PM on June 22. Bring your own pot or container or purchase on of ours. We will provide the soil and y you’ll purchase whatever plants and accessories you wish. Space is limited, so call either store to sign up for a spot.
