Eight Hardin 4-H youth in state fair rabbit skillathon

119 youth from all over Ohio participated in the Ohio State Fair rabbit contests. Of those 119, eight were from Hardin County youth. The competitions included Rabbit Skillathon, Breed Identification, Judging and Showmanship. In the Judging contest, youth judged four rabbits of four different breeds against the American Rabbit Breeders Association Standard of Perfection and placed each according to compliance with the standard.

Sydney Lingo placed 10th in the 14 yr old division Rabbit Skillathon. Sierra Hedges took 1st place in the 15-16 yr old division for Rabbit Judging. Jordan Furer placed 7th in the 16 yr old division Rabbit Skillathon and 4th in the 15-16 yr old division for Breed Identification. 

Jared Hunt placed 7th in the 11 yr old division Rabbit Skillathon. Mara France placed 6th in the 11 yr old division Rabbit Skillathon. Lily James placed 8th in the 9 yr old division for Rabbit Skillathon. KiNell Stahler placed 11th in 11 yr old division Rabbit Skillathon.  Cami Lowery – 2nd place Rabbit Skillathon in the 10 yr old  division, 1st place Rabbit Judging (8-10 yr old  division), 1st place Breed Identification (8-10 yr old  division), 1st place Showmanship, 2013 Rabbit Showman of Showman
