Cheer clinic for K-8 graders offers chance to cheer during Oct. 10 football game

Although Tuesday is a "no school day" due to the Hardin County Fair, lots of events are underway in Ada schools. Here's an update from the school website.

ATTENTION 7TH & 8TH GRADERS: The high school cheerleaders are sponsoring a cheer clinic for students grades K-8 on Oct. 6 - 10. Registration forms are in the high school office and are due back by Friday, Sept. 12. It is for the Pink Out game on Oct. 10. Participants will cheer the first half with varsity cheerleaders.

VOLLEYBALL: Volley for the Cure shirts is available through Friday from any volleyball player. Black and gray t-shirts are $5 or pink tie-dyed for $9. The game is Thursday, Sept. 18, at Allen East.

ADA HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADERS: First-ever Bulldogs Pink Out t-shirt order forms are available in both offices. Please turn in all orders by Sept.12 to high school office. Bulldogs Pink Out game will be at varsity football game on Oct. 10.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Fall is here, students have returned to school and so the Beats by Dr Dre. All 6th through 12th grade students interested in winning a headset needs to start collecting BoxTops and Campbell Soup labels.

For every 10 students bring in, students will receive a chance at winning a headset of your color choice. The last day to enter is Friday, Sept. 26. The winner will be drawn in live video feed during morning announcements. See you Language Arts teacher for baggies and slips to fill out for the drawing. There will be a winner for both middle school and high school.
