Hardin Alliance accepting nominations for 2014 awards - event Feb. 26 at ONU

The Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance is now accepting nominations for the 2014 Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, and Community Service AwardS.

A NOMINATION FORM IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS STORY.

 

Anyone from Hardin County may be nominated to receive these honors.  A panel of judges from Alliance members will make the final decision. The recipients will be revealed Thursday, Feb. 26, during the Alliance’s annual meeting held at Ohio Northern University’s McIntosh Center.

Selection of Citizen of the Year will be based upon an individual's outstanding achievements and contributions to improve the Hardin County community.

To be considered for the Business of the Year award, a business or industry should give back to the community, support local business, and create or encourage job growth.

The Community Service Award is given to an individual, group or business who has dedicated themselves to helping others and improving our community.

To nominate a person, group or business for these awards, please complete the following application and return it with a short explanation of the qualifications that make this nominee deserving of the award.
