Klingler Road reconstruction project delayed until end of month

This is this week's "Village Voice," provided by the Village of Ada.

In an ideal world, progress happens overnight and none of us are inconvenienced while
improvements are made.

Progress in Ada may not happen overnight, but we do like to warn residents when it’s coming, in an effort to minimize the level of inconvenience.

The Klingler Road Reconstruction Project has been awarded to Bluffton Paving, Inc.
The project officially began April 10, but weather will impact the date shovels first
hit the ground. The Village is expecting work to begin by the end of April.

Road closures are expected to happen on Klingler Road, and may happen on roads near Klingler Road as needed for construction. Any road closure will be announced on the Village’s website at www.adaoh.org, with a follow up note in The Village Voice.

Ohio Northern University has also agreed to notify students, staff, and faculty via emails.
Road closures will also be announced on WONB.

If you need to be in the area, please save yourself some frustration by planning ahead and allowing for unexpected delays. Please respect any road closure signs or barricades, as they are put up to provide a safe working environment for the construction crews.

We appreciate your patience as we begin an improvement project that Council has
determined to be in the best interest of Ada. The construction period may seem long at
times, but if you need a reminder of the results, visit East Lima Avenue, West Lima
Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, or Main Street to see what is in store at the end of the project.
