Red Cross responds to Alger home fire

RED CROSS RESPONDS TO ALGER HOME FIRE

The American Red Cross North Central Ohio Chapter responded to a fire on State Route 235 in Alger on Friday morning, providing disaster relief services to three adults living in the home.

The Red Cross provided assistance including temporary lodging and aid for immediate needs such as food and clothing to those affected.

“We’re deeply saddened for those who were impacted by this fire,” said Todd James, Executive Director, North Central Ohio Chapter. “As we continue to help them, we urge everyone to take steps to minimize the risk of a fire occurring in their home.”
