50th annual Wheels Festival Friday in downtown Bluffton

Over 200 vehicles expected

FROM BLUFFTON ICON - The 50th annual Festival of Wheels is Friday in downtown Bluffton. It should attraced nearly 200 vehicles.

The event has expanded from antique and classic cars to include trucks, tractors, golf carts, fire engines, motorcycles and Cushman’s, according to Dennis Morrison, show chair.

This year’s downtown show opens for parking at 2 p.m. and registration for vehicles is from 2 to 5 p.m., rain or shine.

Judging begins at 5 p.m. with trophies awarded at 7:30 p.m. A cruise down South Main Street begins at 8 p.m. Vehicle registration is $12.
