Community Improvement Corp. elects officers on Wednesday

CIC promotes, advances and encourages industrial, economic, commercial and civic development here

Ada’s Community Improvement Corp. (CIC) will elect officers for 2018 at its first quarterly meeting of the year.

The meeting, at noon, Wednesday, Jan. 17, is in the Dean’s Heritage Room in McIntosh Center on the ONU campus.

This year’s officer’s slate includes Jamie Hall, president, Brandt Miller, vice president, Eileen Peterman, secretary and Angela Polachek, treasurer. They are the current officers.

According to Peterman, other agenda items include a review of members, and a 2018 budget.

Board members are Jamie Hall, Brandt Miller, Angela Polachek, Eileen Peterman, Deb Curlis, Beth Fenton, Terry Keiser, David Retterer, Bryan Marshall, Norm Rex, Fred Steiner and Don Traxler.

In Ohio, community improvement corporations (CIC) are non-profit corporations organized under the provisions of the Revised Code.

CIC’s purpose is to promote, advance and encourage industrial, economic, commercial and civic development of the Ada community.

Ada’s CIC meets quarterly. The next meeting is at noon, Wednesday, April 25, in McIntosh.
