Family-friendly “Spooktacular” Oct. 20

In Hancock Historical Museum’s Hull House

The Hancock Historical Museum will host an evening of fun for all ages at a Halloween “Spooktacular!” on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 5-8 p.m.

Enjoy tours through the "haunted" Hull House, built in 1881. Sample seasonal treats cooked over the hearth in the historic Crawford Log House. Decorate pumpkins and cookies, or make a Halloween mask inspired by Findlay's own American Mask Factory.

Children will enjoy spooky storytelling, face-painting, crafts and games. The Derrick Express Learning Bus, Children’s Museum of Findlay, and the Hancock Parks District will also be on-hand with activities for guests.

Donations will be accepted for refreshments. Guests are encouraged to come in costume! Admission for the event is $1 per person and includes all museum facilities.

This family-friendly and candy-free event is sponsored by area dentists: Dr. Stan Doty, McComb Family Dental, Dr. Thomas Mitchell, Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Kyle Amspaugh – Blanchard Valley Pediatric Dentistry.

Additional support provided by Geckle’s Orchard, Wolfe’s Produce, and Cooper Tire & Rubber Company. The Hancock Historical Museum is located at 422 W. Sandusky Street in Findlay. For more information, please contact the museum at 419-423-4433 or visit www.hancockhistoricaluseum.org.
