Watch the Icon for more entertain photos coming later in the week -

1 p.m. Jeff Davis, Lima, will open for Elvis Impersonator Richie Crouch. Davis sings country, Elvis, classic, gospel, and more. Crouch sings Elvis, of course.

1-4 p.m. A Living Statue Soldier from the Cincinnati Circus will be stationed near the Main Stage.

Coming Thursday

The familiar Main Street Lincoln Highway Buy-Way Yard Sale info center will be in place by Thursday. See the story below on this year's event.

It's Lincoln Highway Buy-Way Sales weekend

And Ada is on the map!

It’s a heavenly weekend for garage sale buyers and sellers.

It’s Main Street Across America’s Lincoln Highway Buy Way Yard Sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 10-11-12, and Ada is getting ready for a flood of buyers.

The annual event in Ada is sponsored by the Ada Community Improvement Corp. (CIC), which is a member of the Lincoln Highway Association, and the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce.

A map of Ada garage sales will be posted soon on the Icon. The map will list sales in the village and in the surrounding countryside.

In addition, several of the garage sale locations to be on the map have already listed their garage sales on the Icon.

Thanks, Linda

Several hundred people attended the retirement reception on Friday at ReStore for Linda Dearth (center), store manager. Here, she is greeted by Laura Ferguson, board president, and Rob Kanzig, director. In the second photo children walked into ReStore with a dozen roses for Linda Dearth in celebration of her retirement. (Monty Siekerman photo)
