Ada Gators are 1-1

Wapakoneta Waves overcame Ada Gators 570-276 in a swim meet Thursday at the Ada pool. Ada is now 1-1 on the season. The Gators will take on Sherwood on Monday, June 19, in Sherwood.

It's not too soon to start thinking about this year's Harvest and Herb Festival.

Planning is now underway for this year’s Ada Area Chamber of Commerce’s festival, according to David Dellifield, chamber president.

This year’s festival is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16. As in past year's, it will fill Ada’s Main Street from Highland to College. Main Street will be closed at State Route 235 all the way to State Route 81.

Ada Purple - 2017 Tri-County coach pitch softball champs

Meet the Ada Purple team.

They are the 2017 Tri-County coach pitch softball champions.

The team won its first tournament game 12-7 vs. USV and won the title game against undefeated Buckland 11-10. The team's final record was 14-2 (10-2 regular season). Buckeye Hybird is the team sponsor.

Thursday's Lunch and Learn focus: Annuities

Liberty National Bank and Community Health Professionals of Ada host a free Lunch and Learn from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, at Community Health Professionals, 1200 S. Main St., Ada.

The topic is “Understanding Annuities: The good, the Bad and the Ugly” presented by Michael McMeans, CFP of Liberty Financial Services, LLC.

ONU grad promoted within Mercy Health

Ronda Lehman named the Chief Network Integration Officer

 Ronda Lehman has been named the Chief Network Integration Officer (CNIO) for the Mercy Health Lima region. Lehman will continue to serve as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Mercy Health Physicians in the Lima region.
 
Lehman joined St. Rita’s in 1995 as a pharmacist and has been promoted to hold a number of executive roles since that time, including Director of Pharmacy, Executive Director, Vice President of Operations for the Medical Center, and Chief Operating Officer for St. Rita’s Professional Services.
