ONU campus pond winter scene

With temperatures in the low teens, the ducks at the ONU pond don't have much unfrozen water to hang out in right now.
But when a potential treat appears across the pond, they have something other than water and ice in mind. (photo by Ken Collins)

Adorable doors with a holiday feeling

Not your ordinary elementary classroom doors

FROM THE ADA BULLDOG FACEBOOK - There are some very festival doors on Ada elementary school classrooms this month.

You’ll find a door decorated in a chimney-fireplace theme, let it snow, a Christmas tree, gifts wrapped, reindeers on the house tops, a singing reindeer, gingerbread men and women and even a Grinch.

Oh, and there’s an interesting custodian decoration that speaks for itself.

PHOTOS OF THE WINNING DOORS ARE BELOW -

Classroom winners are:
1st – Mrs. Tabor, second grade
2nd – Mrs. Etgen, first grade
3rd – Mrs. Salyer, fourth grade
4th – Mrs. Smittle, Kindergarten
