Bulldog runners compete at Grove Invite

COLUMBUS GROVE - The Ada cross country squad competed at the Columbus Grove Invitational Saturday morning.

The Bulldogs finished 20th in the 24-team small school division meet. Host CG won the boys event with 76 points. Botkins nosed out Minster for second place, 97-98.

Ada scored 571 points to finish ahead of Leipsic, Spencerville, North Central and Miller City, who did not have enough runners finish (five) to field a team score.

Noah Fisher of Defiance Ayersville won the race in 15:38.4. A total of 148 runners competed in the boys small school division race.

Senior Hunter Wells finished 101st in 20:47.006
Sophomore Riley Ferguson came in 108th in 21:24.818.
Sophomore Seth Swaney     ended up 116th in 22:22.325.
Freshman Connor Daugherty was 119th in a time of 22:40.306.
Sophomore Keegan Giddens finished 127th in 24:13.974
Freshman Xander Wells came in 129th in 24:29.009.
Freshman Robby Waters was 130th in 24:31.716.
