School board sets executive session Jan. 30

To evaluate superintendent, treasurer, to consider personnel issues and security arrangements

Ada school board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 30, in executive session, according to Matt Gossman, board president.

The meeting will be to evaluate the superintendent and treasurer and to consider personnel issues. No action is anticipated following the session, according to Gossman.

Following its reorganization meeting, the board opened its regular January. The board meeting staff notes, not yet approved by the board, are attached at the bottom of this story.

Among action, the board set a meeting and planning session for 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20.

The board also approved an agreement with Owens Community College, for College Credit Plus courses in 2020-21.

Following an open session of eight minutes, the board entered executive session, which lasted from 5:53 to 7:15 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 7:16 p.m. with no additional action taken.
