ONU cross country teams release 2020 schedule

The Ohio Northern women's cross country team released its 2020 schedule Friday. The slate features eight meets — six in Ohio and two in Indiana — over the course of three months.

The Polar Bears begin the season with a mid-week meet. Northern will play host to the Hokum Karem Sept. 1 in a meet that will include Heidelberg and Bluffton. 

The month of September will feature two more competitions. ONU will travel to Delaware for the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational Sept. 5 before competing in the All-Ohio Championships Sept. 19 in Akron. 

The Polar Bears will race the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble Oct. 3. They'll finish up their regular season at Pre-Nationals in Terra Haute, Indiana, Oct. 17. 

Wilmington will host the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships Oct. 31. The Great Lakes Regional will take place in Oberlin Nov. 14, and the National Championships will be run Nov. 21 in Terra Haute. 

The Polar Bears are coming of a 2019 campaign that saw them win one regular-season meet and finish fourth at the conference meet.
