KENTON - The Ada varsity swim teams competed in a makeup dual meet at county rival Kenton in the Hardin County YMCA natatorium to end the regular season Tuesday evening.

The Bulldog boys were defeated by the Wildcats, 87-23. Kenton won the combined team meet by a score of 148-74.

Sophomore Carlie Oldfield won the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke races to lead the Ada girls. Senior Paige Cole also won two races (100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke).

Sophomore Kaitlyn Bowden touched the wall first in the 200 freestyle.

"We were able to celebrate Paige Cole, who was our only senior this year," said Ada first-year head coach Katey Stuart.
