The Ada Public Library will be closed Friday, Oct. 27, due to construction. Regular library hours will resume on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Library patrons go to Suter's Thursday

All Ada Public Library storytime groups are invited to join Natalie Walton at Suter's Farm for a morning hayride and pumpkin picking on Thursday, Oct. 26.

Those attending are asked to meet at 10:45 a.m. at Suter's, 12200 Pandora Rd., Pandora. Songs and a puppet show will be shared on the hayride. The cost is $4.50 per person

Library sponsors beard contest

It's a few week until December 6, but the Ada Public Library wants men to know that there will be judging for a beard contest that day...so, let the epic growth begin.

The contest is part of the library's centennial celebration this year. Judging of the shaggy, woolly, bristly, stubby, furry hirsute will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6.

It's Chloe Noel and she's at the public library

Need help with a computer, laptop, tablet, cell phone, printer--most anything in the tech world?

The go to person is Chloe Noel, who will be at the Ada Public Library on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., to offer free service to patrons.

Noel, a graduate of Riverdale High School and ONU, will also be at these locations during the week:
• Ridgemont Public Library, Mondays, 11-6;
• Forest Public Library, Tuesdays, 10-6:30;
• Hardin Northern Library in Dunkirk, Thursdays, noon-6;
• Mary Lou Johnson Library in Kenton, Fridays, 9-5.
