The Ada Municipal Pool is now open for the season.

The early bird pricing for pool passes ends Monday, June 13. Through the end of the day on Monday, passes are $45 per person. If you are an Ada resident or taxpayer, you may be eligible for a $10 discount, subject to verification. That makes your pool pass only $35.

After Monday, passes are $55 per person. The $10 discount for Ada residents and/or taxpayers still applies, so passes for those individuals will be $45 per person.

Passes are only being sold at the village office this season, and hours are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Guests to the pool will need to pay daily admission rates until a pass has been issued.

The Village Voice: Keeping Our streets, sidewalks and storm basins free from grass clippings

Grass is flying everywhere lately, as people take to their lawns to spruce things up. Keeping grass mowed is important in the Village, as it keeps our neighborhoods looking neat and tidy, and it helps reduce the insect population. Grass, weeds or rank vegetation that is over 6 inches in height is a violation of Codified Ordinance 521.08 (e), which is one more reason why keeping grass trimmed is a good idea.
