ONU brings International Women’s Flag Football to the midwest

On May 4-5, the International Women’s Flag Football Association, Ada’s Wilson football factory, and the Inn at ONU, hosted a women’s and girls flag football tournament at Ohio Northern’s Dial-Roberson Stadium.

Grades K-12 sign up for for summer swim this week

The Ada Gators summer swim team sign-ups are Monday, May 6 and Thursday, May 9 from 6:30-8:00pm at the United Methodist Church in Ada. 

June 1 celebration at Vancrest of Ada

Summer Kick Off events will include the Vancrest of Ada Celebration 2024 with "food trucks, bounce houses. dunk tank. games, and fun!!!!"

ONU hosts Nike basketball camps for ages 7-15

ONU men's basketball staff and coach Neal Young will lead a youth Complete Skills camp on June 10-13 and a Shooting Skills camp on June 14.

ONU women's golf wins OAC Championships title

WEST LAFAYETTE __ Ohio Northern held off a strong charge from Otterbein to grab the 2024 Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golf Tournament title with a record-breaking performance Friday-Sunday.

Annual AHS track and field invitational draws 17 schools

ADA __ Ada High School hosted its annual track and field invitational on Saturday, May 4 at War Memorial Stadium.

Seventeen schools competed in the event.

Bluffton swept both the boys and girls team titles at the meet. Van Wert came in second in the boys and girls team standings.

The Ada boys finished a strong third, while the Bulldog girls tied for tenth with Cory-Rawson.

Senior Jackson Brown won the 110 high hurdles and took second in the 100-meter dash to pace the Bulldogs.

Sophomore Jordyn Smith took second in the girls 400-meter race.
