The Inn at Ohio Northern University’s dining, pub and meeting areas will be closed from July 22 through early fall.  For its guests’ convenience, The Inn is currently experiencing construction to these areas.  It will reopen in the fall. 

During this time, Director of Sales, Kim Cole-Fitzgerald will be available to plan all fall meeting and banquet needs.  You may reach her at 419.772.4112. 

The Inn at Ohio Northern University, located at 401 W. College Ave., is a full-service hotel in Ada.

Liberty Baptist Church Ada, held a "Diner Disaster" Vacation Bible School this week. The VBS included skits including this one.

 

 

Dave Sturgeon of the United Way of Hardin County shares a laugh with members of the Ada Community Improvement Corp. (CIC) during the July 17 meeting. The county's kickoff drive is Aug. 7. According to Sturgeon 397 residents of Ada and Liberty Township were served by the UW last year. Phil Compton will visit with Ada businesses to seek support in the year's drive.

The Ohio Northern women's basketball team is ranked No. 13 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Academic Top 25.

Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) posted the best team GPA, Emerson (Mass.) was second and Greenville (Ill.) was third.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 annually recognizes women's basketball teams across the nation in NCAA Divisions I, II and III, the NAIA, and junior/community colleges that carry the highest combined grade point averages (GPAs) inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season.

In order to be eligible, a team must have a team cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

Ohio Northern University is ranked third among the top schools in the state of Ohio for its students’ greatest lifetime return on investment (ROI) according to “Affordable College Online: Highest Return on Investment Colleges in Ohio” ranking. ROI is a function of two things: how much students spend to earn a degree, and how much graduates earn.

Ohio Northern University is currently registering businesses and residents for its second annual Ada Civic Engagement (ACE) Day to be held on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The ACE program is designed to engage incoming students with the community. A partnership with the village of Ada, ACE will provide opportunities for ONU’s first-year students to not only engage in the community but also contribute to the village’s beautification.
