An excavator works at the site of the nursing home construction on State Route 81 near Ada schools. Not many days of work were lost this winter even though the weather was severe. A ground thawer, which is like a big boiler, was used to heat the ground in areas where work needed to be done. Presently, construction is proceeding on grading and underground plumbing and storm sewers. DMK of Louisville, Ky., is general contractor. (Monty Siekerman photo)
