Saturday preview

Ohio Northern University students will give new meaning to the term ice-breaker with the annual Polar Plunge from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the pond inside of fraternity circle, located just south of the King Horn Sports Center. The annual event is sponsored by Delta Sigma Phi fraternity and raises money for the Alzheimer’s Association. Individuals pay $5 each to jump into the lake or to sponsor a friend. This is the 11th annual plunge, which raises between $1,000 and $2,000 each year. This photo is from last year's event.
