Community movie night at Richland Manor Aug. 16
Richland Manor, Swaney Road, will have a community movie night along with family night Thursday, Aug. 16, according to Barry Schneck.
Schneck said, "The plan is to show “We Bought A Zoo” outside so people can bring lawn chairs or we will provide chairs. It is to start at 8 p.m. Also we will have snacks and drinks to go along with the movie and its free and open to the public."
"We Bought a Zoo" is a 2011 comedy-drama film based on the 2008 memoir of the same name by Benjamin Mee.The film is directed by Cameron Crowe, and stars Matt Damon as the lead character. It tells the story of Mee and his family who just moved into a dilapidated zoo and took on the challenge of preparing the zoo for its reopening to the public.
