Village council thanks residents for project input

The Ada village council hosted a public meeting on Monday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m. at the Community Health Professionals Building, to discuss the planned wastewater treatment plant project and the reconstruction of East Lima Avenue. The East Lima Avenue project is expected to be under construction in early 2014.

The Village would like to take this opportunity to thank the residents of the Ada community who were able to attend the meeting, and more importantly, for the open, honest and candid questions and discussion that took place.

Public meetings such as the one held Monday evening provides Council the additional opportunity to hear feedback from residents. These meetings also give the Village a chance to show design plans, answer individual questions, and make adjustments to projects to better suit the Ada Community.

Individual cross section plans and right of way design sheets are available for each property owner along East Lima Avenue. These plans address the proposed changes that will affect each property directly. If you were unable to get these plans during the meeting, please feel free to stop in the Village Office during regular business hours to pick up your individual copy of plans that are specific to your property.

Information distributed to all attendees at the meeting is available to the public. Printed copies are available at the Village Office, and electronic copies are available on the Village website at www.adaohio.org.

The Village will continue to hold public meetings on these two projects, as well as other projects the Village is currently designing. We will continue to advertise meeting dates and times via The Village Voice and on the Village website.

The Village again thanks you for your input as we work to improve our community. Please feel free to contact the Village Office with any questions or concerns with these projects.
