Clifford Webb, Sr., was head custodian at Hardin Northern schools for 10 years
Clifford R. Webb, Sr., age 82, died Thursday, November 22, 2012, at 2:55 AM at his residence in Dola, Ohio.
He was born on March 17, 1930, in Auxier, Kentucky to Melvin and Fannie (Francis) Webb, who preceded him in death. On August 23, 1950, he married June L. Robinson, and she survives in Dola.
Clifford worked for Sheller Globe/Superior Coach Division for 30 years. He then was the head custodian at Hardin Northern Schools for 10 years. Clifford was a bluegrass musician playing the banjo and guitar. He and his wife wintered in Florida for 18 years after he retired.
Surviving are two sons, Dwight (Shelly) Webb of Richmond, VA, and Clifford "Kip"(Kim) Webb, Jr. of Dunkirk; four daughters, Pamela (Mike) Spangler of Leipsic, Tina Webb of Kenton, Terri (Olen) Sutherland of Harrod, and Vicki (Mark) Southward of Dunkirk; two sisters, Alka Webb of Sugar Hill, GA and Vivian (Kelly) Music of Farwell, MI; a sister-in-law, Opal Webb of Lima; 16 grandchildren, Joshua Webb, Sarah Daniels, Stephen (Heather) Webb, Rachel Webb, Melissa (Mark) Montgomery, Sam Spangler, Sarah Spangler, Kristie (Cory) Wetherill, Lisa (Casey) Wetherill, Garrick Webb, Courtney (Angie) Whitaker, Richard (LeeAnn) Whitaker, Nathan Sutherland, Whitney Sutherland, Amanda (Joe) Morrison, and Blake (Abby) Southward; and 18 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Whitaker; one brother, Charles Webb; and four sisters, Ruth Hager, Marie Hopson, Irsle Hannah, and June Hannah.
