Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to benefit 20th Annual Gene Autry Days
Enjoy Spaghetti, Garlic Bread, Salad, Beverage and Dessert for $8 on April 28 from 12:30PM to 2:30PM at the First United Methodist Church, 234 N. Main St., Kenton. Ticket are pre-sale only. You can buy tickets at the Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance, 225 S. Detroit St., Kenton, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-4:30PM.

Upcoming Programs at Mary Lou Johnson Library
·         On April 23 and 30 there will be an American Mahjong Class from 2:30PM-4:30PM for any adult interested. No need to bring anything except yourself.
·         On April 13 beginning at 1PM, the Ohio Bird Sanctuary will be at the library to do a programs. There will be live birds and they will be talking about each bird and how they live in and around Ohio. All ages are welcome and the program is free.
·         Master Gardeners will have a presentation on April 17 at 7:00PM Vickie Phillips will present “Wildflowers of Lawrence Woods."

Grand Opening of the Corner Kick Soccer Complex
The Hardin County Family YMCA will hold the Grand Opening for the Corner Kick Soccer Complex on April 14 at 2PM. Free Soccer Balls (while supplies last) and a FREE Soccer Clinic by the ONU Soccer Team! Refreshments will be served. For more information call the Y at 419.673.6131.

‘Inside I Am’ Program
Tour the World within the Walls of Simon Kenton School as the World Link Exchange Students host their 'Inside I Am' Project at Simon Kenton Schools on April 14 from 1PM-5PM. Learn about different countries beginning at 1PM. Chicken Noodle Dinner from Jolene's Cozy Cafe served from 1PM-3PM. Cost is $7.50 for meal tickets. Live entertainment and games for children. Stroke: A Treatable Emergency
Learn at Lunch will be presented by Paula Myers, RN, MSN, CCRN who is the Director of the OhioHealth Stroke Network on April 17 in the McCullough Conference Room at 12:30PM. FREE blood pressures will be provided beginning at noon. Bring your lunch and find out how stroke is a preventable, treatable, and beatable disease. For more information call 419.675.8137. Beacon of Hope Dinner & Charity Auction
Community Health Professionals Hospice will be holding a Beacon of Hope Dinner & Charity Auction on April 25 at the ONU Ballroom, McIntosh Center. Dinner begins at 6PM and the auction begins at 7PM. Live and Silent Auctions will be held. Tickets are $20 each. Call 419.634.7443 to RSVP before April 18.

Hardin Youth Leadership Graduation
Thirty-six sophomores from the Hardin Youth Leadership program will be graduating from the 2012-2013 program on April 24 at the Ohio Northern University, McIntosh Center. The 12NOON luncheon and program will include presentations by each high schools' ambassador followed by the presentation of certificates for completion.

Sponsors for the program will be recognized as well as the instructors for the program.  The event will last two hours. Parents and community guests are reminded that luncheon reservations with payment are due April 18 to the O.S.U. Extension, Hardin County, One Courthouse Sq. Suite 40, Kenton, OH 43326.  Instructors, student advisors and sponsors and parents need to RSVP by phoning (419) 674-2297 or e-mailing [email protected] by the same April 18 deadline.

College, Coffee and Chat
The Hardin County Admissions Representative from Rhodes State College will be available for Coffee chats at Jitterz on April 19 from 9-11AM.  Anyone interested in learning more about college or learning more about Rhodes State College can come in and chat with Aftan Dewese. YMCA offers Tire Changing Clinic
Tire Changing Clinic: Do You Know How To Change A Tire and prepare a proper "Flat Pack' for road trips? The Hardin County YMCA is offering a Tire Changing Clinic on April 19 from 5:30-7PM at the Y. $5 for members, $10 non-members. Register by April 17 by calling 419.673.6131.

National Medication Take Back Day
On April 27 from 9AM to 12NOON, bring all of your unused, expired prescriptions as well as over-the-counter medications to one of the locations and law enforcement officers will dispose of these medications in a safe, legal and environmentally conscious manner.

·         Parking Lot on the corner of South Main Street and East College Avenue, Ada

Upcoming @ ONU’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts
·         “Nine” - Based on Felini's film 8 1/2, this musical delighted Broadway theatre goers in a hit revival in 2003. Nine is the story of a celebrated Italian film director, Guido Contini, who has lost his creative inspriation under the looming deadline for his latest film. Contini attempts to court his muse through the company of beautiful women, all clamoring to be loved by him. Haunted by the shadows of his past, Contini is forced to contemplate the real substance of his life, which will become the material for his next film.  Tickets: General $15; Senior/Non-ONU Student $12; Child $9. ·         International Play Festival - This decade-old festival, dedicated to the promotion of new work from around the globe, will focus on the world premiere of an English translation of a Japanese Play.Tickets: General $15; Senior/Non-ONU $12; Child $9.
