Full month of events in October in Hardin County

Here's the October events calendar for Hardin County from the Hardin Chamber and Business Alliance.

Christmas Around the Square Basket Auction
It’s time once again for one of our main events and fundraisers, Christmas Around the Square. The annual auction features baskets donated by our members. Please select the kind of container you would like to use to create your basket. Your creation can be displayed at your business anytime through November 6. The baskets/containers will be displayed on November 9 in the courthouse until the time of the auction. Sponsors will be recognized in radio and newspaper advertising, the newsletter and during the show.
We will be limiting the number of baskets to 30 this year. A great option would be to partner with another business to create a distinct collaboration.

Need help creating a basket for Christmas Around the Square but you simply don’t have the time or desire to decorate it? We will accept requests for decorated items until November 1, 2013 or when we reach our quota.

We will be bringing back the online bidding for the basket auction again this year. There will be a link on our website www.hardinohio.org that will take you to the auction where you can view photos and descriptions of each basket and enter your bids. Deadline to submit description and photo in order to be included in publicity and online bidding is October 24, 2013.
Watch the mail for more information on the basket auction!
