Upcoming @ ONU’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts
·   20th Anniversary of Dance at Ohio Northern University – February 1 at 7:30pm and February 2 at 2pm.Ohio Northern University and the Department of Theatre Arts celebrates 20 years of dance at ONU.  Current students and returning alums will come together as dancers, choreographers, light designers and more to create a wonderful dance concert.
·    Jack Hanna's Into the Wild Live – February 8 at 2pm & 7pm, Join us for a trip to the wild side with America's favorite zookeeper, "Jungle Jack". Featuring many of his favorite animals, Jack shares fascinating stories and footage from around the world. The perfect show for all ages.
·    The Things They Carried – February 13 at 7:30pm, Journey into the poignant, moving portrayal of the unique struggles of the American Soldier. With original cello music as underscoring, the audience lays witness to the complex issues of war and the universal struggle of the soldier. The play offers both a pre and post show interactive discussion to explore themes including ethics, making choices and violence.
·   Baby Boomers Comedy Show – February 14  at 7:30pm, Fellow baby boomers and verteran comedians Jan McInnis and Kent Rader hit all the familiar topics you're dealing with -- family, kids, work, do-it-yourself projects, dieting, aging and all -- and they do it with clean humor that's been a hit at thousands of conventions.

Nominations for Annual Awards now being accepted

Nominations for the 2013 Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year and Community Service Awards will be accepted through February 3, 2014. Anyone from Hardin County may be nominated to receive these honors. To nominate a person, group or business for these awards, please complete an application and return with a short explanation of the qualifications that make this nominee deserving of the award. The application can be downloaded from www.hardinohio.org, from the Facebook page or picked up in the Alliance office. Entries should be submitted by February 3 to the Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance office at 225 S. Detroit St., Kenton. You may also fax the completed form to 419.674.4876 or email it to [email protected].

Alliance Annual Dinner & Meeting
Formal invitations to the Alliance’s Annual Dinner & Meeting are being mailed directly to each member. Table Sponsorships are still available -  includes name in program and January/February/March Alliance newsletter, plus recognition at the event during the raffle. As a sponsor, you need to provide table favors for eight plus a centerpiece which is raffled following the meeting. No additional cost other than expense of centerpiece and favors. Deadline – February 7.

Rhodes State College Training
The workshop “Project Managements: Task & People Issues” will be held February 20, 2014 and February 27, 2014. Rhodes State College is again offering Allen Bradley PLC training in February.
