Cami Hazelton wins first at state in gymnastics

Cami Hazelton, 11-year-old Ada 5th grader, just finished her second competitive gymnastics year representing Gold Medal Gymnastics in Findlay. This year she competed as a Level 4 and won 1st place in her age division for the 2015 Ohio Compulsory State Meet held in Bowling Green April 10, 2015.  

She also received individual event titles including a tie for 3rd on uneven bars with a score of 8.900; 1st on vault with score 9.050; 1st of balance beam with score 9.100; 1st on floor with score 9.225; and 1st all-around with score 36.275. 

This was her 8th and final meet of the 2014-2015 season. She has received many awards and reached numerous personal goals, including a personal best floor score of 9.800 (out of 10.000 possible). 

Cami also won state in her age division last year as a Level 3 and will continue to pursue gymnastics next year as an optional gymnast Level 6.

She is the daughter of Travis and Rebecca Hazelton of Ada and has an older sister, Audrey and new brother, Quinn.
