ONU's Homecoming theme is ‘Let the Good Times Roar’
Ohio Northern University will celebrate Homecoming 2015 from Sept. 25-27. All alumni, friends, family, faculty and students are welcome to attend.
With its “Let the Good Times Roar” theme, Homecoming weekend will kick off on Friday, Sept. 25, with a Law Alumni Luncheon at 11 a.m. and Law PAD CLE at 1 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., former athletes will be honored during the ONU Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony and banquet.
The ONU Choral Collage will perform in the Snyder Hall Recital Hall in Presser Hall at 8 p.m. on Friday.
Saturday beginning at 9 a.m., the Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy and the T.J. Smull College of Engineering will conduct tours of their respective buildings.
The Dicke College of Business Administration will have its annual breakfast and alumni service award ceremony at 9 a.m. This year, the college will honor Paul Carbetta, a 1990 ONU business graduate, with the Alumni Service Award.
The Homecoming parade on Main Street will commence at 10:30 a.m. Following the parade, an all-alumni meeting will be held outside McIntosh Center.
A family-friendly tailgate party begins at 11 a.m. before the Homecoming game against Heidelberg, which begins at 1:30 p.m. Inflatable activities, face painting, caricatures, activities tent and lunch will be available for all to enjoy. Tailgate tickets can be purchased through the Office of Alumni Relations.
After the game, the class reunions reception will be held at The Inn beginning at 4 p.m.
Second City’s “Fully Loaded” performance caps off the evening’s events at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts.
On Sunday, the ONU Sweethearts will have the opportunity to participate in a group vow renewal in the English Chapel followed by the Sweethearts Brunch in the Wishing Well, McIntosh Center. Alumni Sweethearts can participate in one or both events.
