Ready, Set Grow is ready, set, to go, for 2016-17 school year
Ready, Set, Grow Preschool is ready for 2016-17. The staff provided The Icon with the following information about the year.
OPEN HOUSE is Thursday, Aug. 18 from 9-11:30 a.m. or 5:30-7 p.m.
Please stop by the school and drop off/update any paperwork, school supplies, and August payments and registration fees ($25 per child, non-refundable).
Classes begin the week of Aug. 22. Class meets from 9-11:30 a.m. Drop off begins daily at 8:55 a.m. Students must be walked into the building by an adult and signed in to the classroom. Pick up is promptly at 11:30 a.m. Please wait in the gathering area of the drop off area. We will exit and enter through the back doors, under the portico, off of Highland Avenue.
Tuition rates are based on 36-week enrollment and must be paid in full by May 1, 2017.
If you are a student or a working parent, you may qualify for tuition assistance. Please see the teachers for more information.
We recommend paying on the following monthly schedule:
2 days/week $82.50/month
3 days/week $95/month
4 days/week $126.70/month
5 days/week $158.40/month
Each child should bring their own 1.5 inch 3 ring binder, 30 sheet protectors, and a Mead primary journal. The journal is not a composition notebook, but a primary journal with a blank space for drawing and lines for writing.
Don’t forget your school supplies at open house or the first day of preschool. Items do not need to be labeled as we share all supplies at preschool. We can usually use supplies all year long. The teachers will let you know if we have any pressing needs.
We appreciate you helping us by donating any of the following items:
• Construction Paper Glue Sticks Bottled Glue Crazy Art Markers
• Colored Pencils 3 oz. Dixie cups Pipe Cleaners Play Dough
• Ziploc Bags (Gallon & quart size) Pony Beads Googly Eyes
• White Copy Paper Cotton Balls Yarn/String Hand Soap Refills
• Stickers Buttons Cheap Paper Plates Kleenex
• Paper Towels Tape Anti-bacterial Cleaning Wipes
DAILY: Each child’s backpack should contain: a pair of slippers and a full change of clothes—labeled with their name (underwear, socks, shorts, shirt).
