2 gain All-America honors in women's basketball

Britt Lauck first team, Amy Bullimore HM

Senior Britt Lauck (Lima Shawnee) and junior Amy Bullimore (Little Miami) were named All-America in women's basketball for 2016-17 by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

Lauck was a First Team WBCA All-American and Bullimore was named to the Honorable Mention All-America team.

D3hoops.com also named Lauck Second Team All-America.

Lauck and Bullimore led the Polar Bears in scoring this season, averaging 14.1 ppg each.

Lauck was also named First Team All-Great Lakes Region and was the Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Year from her point guard position.

She also became the 14th member of ONU's 1,000-point Club, ending her career with 1,005 points in 110 career games.

Lauck also led the team with a school-record 112 assists this season.

Bullimore also led ONU and was second in the OAC in rebounding at 8.2 rpg as a center.

She was also named First Team All-OAC this season.

Bullimore will enter her senior season with 992 career points in 84 games.

The No. 5-ranked Polar Bears were 30-1 on the season, won the OAC Regular Season and Tournament titles and advanced to the Elite 8 of the NCAA III Tournament this season under 16th-year head coach Michele Durand.
