We have lots of Friday night sideline photos

Monty Siekerman shares his photos from Friday night's ONU women's victory below:

• Celebration huddle after the game in mid court. The ONU women owned the court Saturday night, decisively beating a team which had only 1 loss all season.

• Standing next to the trophy in King Horn, are Joe Campoli, coach of the 1993 ONU men's basketball team which won the NCAA Division III national tournament, and ONU coach head women's coach Michelle Durand, who just might take home a similar trophy next weekend. When the women win (hopefully) Saturday at King Horn, it's off to the Final Four in Grand Rapids, Mich.

• It's a busy time for Tim Glon, ONU sports information for the past 23 years. Not only does he supply information to the media about the women's basketball tourney games, but many spring sports as well with teams competing several times a week in various southern states during spring break.

• Ada's Tori Wyss exits the court after the Lady Bears won on Saturday. Tori, a sophomore pharmacy major, scored 10 points and got her fair share of rebounds and assists to help the team to an easy win over an opponent with a terrific season record.

• One Happy Family: Tori Wyss with grandma Pat and Mom and Dad, Todd and LuAnn. Watch out world...another Wyss is on the way, Haley, an Ada High School senior, who may study nursing but hasn't decided on a college yet.

• ONU held a reception for alumni prior to Saturday's game. Tom Simmons (left), athletic director for the past 18 years, chats with Charles VanDyne, prominent local attorney and supporter of ONU in many ways over the years. Charles received his undergraduate degree from ONU and, in 1954, earned his law degree here.

• After the game, Sylvia Bruns, 4, and several other youngsters took to the court and chased each other around and handled the round ball. Future stars in the making?
