Varsity Singers perform final show Monday
Two performances take place this week in Ada schools.
Ada High School Varsity Singers present the final public performance of this year's competition show Love Monday, May 1, at 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
The concert will also include three songs from the Ohio Music Education Association large group adjudicated event they participated in earlier this spring where the choir received a superior rating.
Also featured will be junior high soloists. The students are under the direction of Ada School choir director, Scott Henning.
First graders' present "It's A Hit!" on Thursday
Then, On Thursday, May 4, Ada 1first graders present, "It's a Hit!" at 1:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Ada Schools auditorium.
Here's the story line:
A new girl in town has joined the baseball team. But there's one problem, she wants to be the pitcher. A girl as a pitcher? That's never been done before.
The performance shows how they learn that everyone can be an all-star.
