School board will act on accepting resignation of Tara Griffith

Anticipates purchase of $86,210 bus

The Ada school board, meeting tonight (July 27) will act to accept the resignation of Tara Griffith, board president, effective July 28. She has served on the school board for 8 ½ years.

Several additional board actions are anticipated. Viewers may see the entire board agenda, attached at the bottom of this story.

The board will act on accepting a bid of $86,210 for a new school bus from Cardinal Bus Sales and Service, to be delivered in September. The trade-in value from Bus 4 is $3,500.

Additional anticipated board action follows:
• Approval of athletic prices for the coming school year
• Rescinding several supplemental contracts approved in June
• Issuance of supplemental contracts for the coming school year
• Approval of certified substitutes
• Approval of classified substitutes
• Approval of instructional courses and fees
    (These fees are itemized in the board agenda)
• Approval of several agreements with other agencies
• Approval of substitute pay
