El Campo goes all out for United Way on Sept. 11

Percentage of sales designated and pledged to UW

It’s an all out for United Way day in Ada on Monday, Sept. 11.

And, El Campo Mexican Restaurant, 124 N. Main St., Ada, is going all out.

According to the United Way President, Merleen Barnes, El Campo will serve its Mexican cuisine with a percentage of sales designated and pledged to United Way of Hardin County during the hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 11.

The United Way assists 20 non-profit agencies in Hardin County, serving in the areas of health, edification and welfare.

Barnes said that there are many agency programs providing transpiration for seniors, mentoring and education youth, housing the homeless, assisting handicap adults and children, community meals, boys and girls leadership programs, emergency food, and many more services.

Barnes added: “The campaign concentrates this year for all to become united for the success of the campaign. Any participation like that of El Campo, or donations small or large will truly make a difference in serving the needs of our county,"
