Ada runs well at Kalida

By Cort Reynolds

KALIDA - Several members of the Ada cross country teams recorded career-best times at the Kalida Invitational Saturday morning.

"The weather and course were on the side of the Ada cross country team Saturday," said Bulldog head coach Josh Klein.

"Almost all of our runners set their personal-best for the season, with Nora Dellifield breaking a new personal record she set during the 2016 season.

"I am beyond proud of these kids for the effort they put forth during the race," he continued. "They pushed themselves to new limits, and it was an incredible feeling to see the excitement on all of their faces when they saw their times.

"In regards to the girls, I was excited to see every girl break the 30-minute mark, while also taking off anywhere from one to four minutes off of their time from the Bath meet."

"As for the boys, every boy set their all-time personal record, with Reece Evans finally breaking into the 18's,  Michael Crouse  breaking into the 19's, and Jacob Morgan breaking into the 20's," Klein noted. "These are personal goals each of these boys set at the beginning of the season."
