BLUFFTON - The Ada volleyball team was seeded seventh at the 14-team Div. IV Bluffton super sectional drawing held Sunday.

Ada (9-11) will visit sixth-seeded Arlington in the first round Tuesday, October 15 at 5:30 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs beat Arlington 25-23, 25-19 at Hardin Northern on Saturday, August 31.

The Bulldog/Red Devil winner will then play the victor between fourth seed Minster (13-7) and 13th seed Waynesfield (3-15) Thursday, Oct. 17 at New Bremen.

Midwest Athletic Conference power New Bremen (19-1) was seeded number one and earned a first round bye. The Cardinals will take on the survivor between 11th seed Ridgemont (4-8) and 12th seed Kalida Thursday, Oct. 17 at NB in the second round.

If Ada were to advance to the district semifinals at Bluffton University, they would almost certainly face New Bremen, ranked 15th in the latest Div. IV state polls.

In the other half of the draw, New Knoxville (15-5) was seeded second and received a first round bye. NK will entertain the winner between ninth seed Cory-Rawson and 10th seed Hardin Northern (6-7) in the sectional second round Oct. 17.

Bluffton (11-9) was seeded fifth and will host eighth seed Pandora-Gilboa in the first round Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 5:30 p.m.

The Pirate/P-G victor will face the survivor between heavily-favored third seed Marion Local and winless 14th seed Upper Scioto Valley. That second round match will be at New Knoxville Thursday, Oct. 17.

The winner goes on to the Bluffton district semis, most likely against two seed New Knoxville.
