Ada grapplers compete at Spartan Invite

LIMA - The Ada wrestling team finished 18th at the 19-team Lima Senior Spartan Invitational Saturday.

Mechanicsburg won the event with 297.5 points, finishing well ahead of second-place Monroe (190). The Bulldogs scored 41 points.

Ada placers by weight class division:
120: 
5th Colton Biederman. Junior Biederman went 3-2 with three pins and won his fifth-place match at 4:08.

Heavyweight:
6th Noah Arnett. Senior Arnett finished 2-2 on the day with a pair of pins, but lost in the fifth-place match by pin.

220:
7th Jonathan McClain. Junior McClain finished 2-3 on the day with two pins, including a win in the seventh-place bout in his weight bracket.

160:
8th Cameron Bober. Junior Bober finished 1-3 in the event, and lost via forfeit in the seventh-place match.
