DELPHOS - Ada sophomore guard Courtney Sumner received All-Northwest Conference girls basketball honors from league coaches in voting conducted at their annual selection meeting held recently.

Sumner led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring, steals, assists and three-point goals to earn honorable mention all-league notice.

The Lady Bulldogs finished their regular season 5-14 overall and 1-7 in the NWC.

Sumner also was named honorable mention all-league last season as a freshman.

Joining Leis on the All-NWC first team were junior Kenzie King (Columbus Grove), Cali Gregory (Crestview), Alyvia Lindeman (Delphos Jefferson), Olivia Cunningham (Crestview) and Janae Pease (Paulding).

The second team was comprised of Alycia Lindeman (DJ), Erin Downing (CG), Jalynn Parrett (Paulding), Bailey Gregory (Crestview) and Kendall Bollenbacher (Lincolnview).

Sumner was the highest vote-getter not to make the second team.
