Sean Beck announces candidacy for Ada council

He will be on the November general election ballot, running as a Democrat

Sean Beck has announced he is a candidate for Ada council. He has filed as a Democrat. With no additional Democrats filing, he will be on the ballot in November.

Beck said that his campaign has received an endorsement from the political organization Run For Something.

RFS was launched in January 2017 with a  premise: help young, diverse people to run for down-ballot races in order to build a bench for the future.

Beck says he wants Ada’s government to be more transparent and is excited that his ideas are being recognized on the national stage.

Beck said, “I have been a fan of the work Run For Something does since I first heard about them in 2017. RFS does such great work with progressive candidates, and I am thrilled to have earned their endorsement of my campaign, ideas, and values.”

While working full time as a customer service representative for a small business, All Service Glass, he is also, as a volunteer,  a government relations advisor to Ohio Wing Civil Air Patrol.

Sean and his wife, Samantha, are parents of one daughter. They attend First United Methodist Church, Ada.
