ONU English Reading Series hosts fiction writer Ghassan Zeineddine

On Monday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m., the spring 2024 ONU English Reading Series will feature fiction writer Ghassan Zeineddine alongside creative writing majors Chrys Goldy and Hunter Houser. The reading will take place in the Wilson Center Elzay Gallery of Art.

Ghassan Zeineddine was born in Washington, DC, and raised in the Middle East. He is the author of the story collection Dearborn and co-editor of the creative nonfiction anthology Hadha Baladuna: Arab American Narratives of Boundary and Belonging. Dearborn was named a Best Fiction Book of 2023 by Kirkus Reviews, Booklist, the Chicago Public Library, and Powell’s. His fiction has appeared in the Georgia Review, TriQuarterly, Pleiades, Fiction International, the Common, and FOLIO, among other publications. Ghassan lives with his wife and two daughters in Ohio, where he is an assistant professor of creative writing at Oberlin College.
