Proctor & Gamble expansion gets TCA assistance

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted recently announced the approval of assistance for five projects set to create and retain jobs statewide.

Chamber mixer provides after hours networking

Ada Area Chamber of Commerce members gathered at The Cask Room, 127 S. Main, on April 20 to network and enjoy an hors d’oeuvres buffet from 4:30-6:00 p.m.

The chamber will be announcing more events of this kind in addition to the 8 a.m. member meeting on the third Wednesday of each month.

Programs currently under development by director Lindsey Walden, the chamber board and members include:

Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival, Saturday, August 27 beginning at 5 p.m. at Depot Park 

36th Annual Harvest & Herb Festival, Saturday, September 17 beginning 9 a.m. on Main Street

30th anniversary celebration at Midwest Rehab

Public invited to April 22 event

Midwest Rehab, 118 E. Highland Ave., is inviting the public to a 30th anniversary celebration on Friday, April 22.

The therapy services provider will have

• 11:00-2:00 food trucks Taco Movil & Ricks Shack Outback 

• Raffle items 

• Free therapy screening

Midwest Rehab is a privately owned corporation providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy. The company has three outpatient locations: Ada, Lima and Findlay.

Midwest Rehab also provides contract therapy services to assisted living, home health agencies, hospitals, nursing homes,and schools.

The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce reports, "We are in full GO planning mode for the 6th Annual Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival! We have some very exciting and NEW things planned for this year.

Week-long document shredding event at Liberty National Bank

Week of May 2

During the week of May 2, Liberty National Bank, 118 S. Main, will have available locked containers for individuals to drop off unwanted paperwork to be destroyed. These containers will be available during office hours, Monday through Saturday, May 2-6.

Please limit the shred to 5 boxes, no larger than 20” wide x 10” high.

This is a free service to the community to help fight the growing concern of identity theft. It is estimated that as many as 9 million U.S. residents have their identities stolen every year.

Liberty National Bank operates offices in Hardin, Franklin, Logan and Union Counties.
