It's "spring fever follies" night in Ada

The popular Ada High School Spring Fever Follies will be held Friday, May 17, at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. This year’s Follies, titled "Kings and Queens," features music from the past to the present day by the legends of music.

Musical styles range from pop and rock to musical theatre with students performing solos and large ensemble numbers.

Graduating senior choir members will be recognized during the program.  For the fifth year Ada Junior Varsity Singers will be a part of the Spring Fever Follies.

The Voices of Ohio perform in Ada Saturday

The Voices of Ohio, choral group, will return to Ada to perform in a 7 p.m., Saturday, May 18, concert at First United Methodist Church. Melanie Caw Woods, member of the church, is also a member of the choir.

This is the choir’s second performance in Ada. At the suggestion of Melanie, the choir earlier performed a benefit concert for the church after its building burned to the ground on March 12, 2012.

That concert raised over $5,000 toward the rebuilding of the church building.
