The Icon found EX88XS - we don't know its meaning - on a red Hyundai Elantra in Ada.

Old-fashioned sidewalk sales coming this weekend

Ada heads into a busy weekend from Thursday through Saturday, July 19-21.

Events include a downtown old-fashioned sidewalk sales. Six businesses are participating:
• Reichert's clothing
• Gallery for the Arts
• Whatever Cards and Games
• The Mercantile
• Dear Darling Boutique
• ReStore

Then, on Saturday, the Ada VFW Cruz-N-Ada moves to Main Street with vehicle registration starting at 2 p.m. Main will be cordoned off from 1 to 8 p.m. for the cruise.

Icon dog of the week - Nora

Meet Nora. She is a boxer mix breed. Nora loves to run, play and have her belly rubbed. Can you give Nora her forever home?

To give a dog a forever home, contact the Hardin County dog shelter. It is located at 49 Jones Road on the west side of Kenton.

We have new hours of operation
Monday 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. 
Tuesday and Thursday - closed 
Wedneday 12 p.m.- 6 p.m.
Friday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Generally, about 20 to 25 dogs are available for viewing.

Siren man
