Sheriff given simulator

The Hardin County sheriff's office has been given a driving simulator that will be used in schools and made available at festivals and fairs.

"The more kids get behind the wheel of the simulator the more lives will be saved," said Sheriff Keith Everhart. "The simulator will help drivers curb poor driving habits."

The simulator was donated by Dom and Terri Tiberi of the Maria Tiberi Foundation as well as from Erie Insurance and Newland-Heydinger Insurance in Kenton.

The simulator will be dedicated to the memories of Keegan McKee and Layton Rogers who both lost their lives in car crashes this year. Members of both families were on hand for the presentation.
