Preschool sing-along

Sing along with the students at the ONU Community Preschool: "When dogs get up in the morning this is what they say...they say..." Dr. Terri Lenzo, music education professor at ONU, leads some singing at the preschool. Students chose the animals in the next verses. There were cats, tigers, lions and even catepillars. You'll need to ask one of the students what the catepillar says in the morning.

Last Ada Chats of Winter 2017

You've heard the term Ada Chats, and you're still not sure what it means? We invite you to join us for the last Ada Chats of this semester, Wednesday, April 12th, 3:30p.m. at Heterick Memorial Library, ONU. Can't make it, or bummed you've missed past chats? Marcella A Hicks 1951 - 2017

Marcella A. Hicks, age 65, died on Tuesday, April 04, 2017 at 2:05a.m. at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert.

          She was born on October 16, 1951 in Lima, Ohio to Russell and Mary Imogene (Recker) Hicks who preceded her in death.             

          Marcella previously worked as the secretary at the Satellite Connection. She was a life member of the Ada VFW Post #9381 Auxiliary.         

Saturday it's all the pancakes you can eat

Kiwanis annual pancake-sausage day 7 .m. to 1 p.m.

Time to get your tastebuds in order. The Kiwanis Club annual Pancake and Sausage Day is just around the corner.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 8, from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. In the Ada Schools cafeteria for the all-you-can-eat meal.

Junior high student auditions next week for spring play

Just one of several activities in Ada schools this month

April is full of events at the Ada schools. Here's an update on some of these activities from the Ada school website:

Ada High School students will director a play this spring featuring junior high students. For students interested in trying out for a role, auditions are before school at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 13. There are a limited number of roles, Talk to Austin or Allison  for more information. 

MUD HENS: There will be a fan bus going to watch the varsity baseball team play in Toledo at the home of the Mud Hens. The sign-up sheet will be in office.
