Girl Scout cookies sold at McIntosh

Just because you go off to college doesn't mean you need to leave Scouting behind. Tyler Overly sells Girl Scout cookies near the cafeteria entrance in McIntosh Center this week and next. If a Scout missed you this year, pick up a few boxes in McIntosh to support the Girl Scouts. There are several kinds of cookies priced at $4-5 a box. Tyler is active in Campus Scouts, after being a Scout in grade school and high school in New London. She is now a senior education major. March weather update

If you look outside, you might disagree with the weather forecast for our area for March. Here's what the ag forecast looks like:

The warm-up has led to green-up conditions running about 3 weeks ahead of schedule in Ohio.

The outlook for March calls for near to slightly warmer than normal temperatures. We will not see the record warmth in March we saw in February. Precipitation will be near or slightly above normal.

ONU women's basketball team makes history

With its unforgettable season

They say that all good things must come to an end, and last weekend the Ohio Northern University women’s basketball team learned that the same holds for truly great things.

The 2016-17 Polar Bears will go down in ONU sports history as the school’s greatest women’s basketball team.

The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) champions were dominant, going undefeated in the regular season (28-0) for the first time in school history.

They parlayed that success to a No. 5 ranking and an invitation to the NCAA Division III Tournament, where they reached two more milestones in advancing to the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight rounds for the first time.
